PAINTING
½ credit length: semester class fee: $15
Career skills needed in the 21st century are used to discover, create, and evaluate paintings. Students first learn the fundamentals of color theory and color mixing. Students then apply this knowledge using various techniques and media including tempera, acrylic, and watercolor paints. Painting subjects include abstract compositions, nature & landscapes, and still life objects. Students also learn about famous artists and art careers related to painting.
