Career skills needed in the 21st century are used to discover, create, and evaluate drawings. Students learn how to improve their direct observational drawing skills through several basic drawing methods using pencil, charcoal, marker, and other types of dry media. Students learn how to value shade and are acquainted with the fundamentals of linear perspective, still life, and portrait drawing. Students also become familiar with famous artists and art careers related to drawing.
