The Great Wall of China (shown here as 1.) is one of many "Wonders of the World". At over 5,000 miles in length, it is the longest wall in the world. It is an awe-inspiring feat of ancient defensive architecture that features winding paths over rugged country and steep mountains. But is it a work of art? What IS art? After you have decided what you think art is, apply your definition to the Wonders of the World shown here. Based on your definition, which one is a good example of art and why? Which one is not a good example and why? Which one would you really like to visit and why?
